The 44th & 3rd Bookseller Foundation photo gallery highlights how the foundation advances its mission to be a source of unbiased literature that reflects the richness, diversity, and genius of black life, literature, and legacy, both in Atlanta and beyond. Through images of literacy outreach with children, community-centered author talks, campus and neighborhood events, and partnerships that bring black writers and readers together, the gallery documents the foundation’s work to expand access to books by and about black people, nurture a love of reading, and create safe, welcoming spaces where knowledge, culture, and community can thrive.
