Our Purpose and Vision

We believe that access to literature and creative expression is a right, not a luxury. Our work is rooted in the belief that stories have the power to shape identity, build community, and change futures. We support young writers, elevate Black voices, and expand access to books and storytelling spaces—making room for new generations to read, write, and be heard.

To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other non-profit organizations that fall under the 501(c)(3) section of the Internal Revenue Code and are operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.

At times, per the discretion of the board of directors, we may provide internships or volunteer opportunities, offering involvement in said activities and programs in order to impact change.
